Through this page I'll share with viewers some of the things my eyes have seen. Sight is one of our senses - it enables us to see so many things; things of great beauty and things of tremendous ugliness and sadness. 

My aim in sharing some of my visual experiences with you is to show what this world has to offer and, through that, to inspire viewers with hope. 

The images I share are not award winning works of amazement; just ordinary views of extraordinary things. They are all raw and untouched. I want to show you what my eyes have seen in reality.

There is confusion between religion and spirituality, and the many different definitions on what each might mean serve to confuse things even more. Both religion and spirituality typically relate humans to a higher purpose or being, commonly termed God. However, religion and spirituality are vastly different when it comes to how humans exercise their relationship to and with God. Religion is a dogmatic political system of affiliation that governs how followers of that system should conform to practices for the glorification and worship of deities and symbols for those deities. In religion, people are subjects of a worshipful establishment. Religion promotes a “brand” for the various types of affiliation (e.g. Christian; Jew; Muslim; etc.). Knowing Gnosis

This world loves labels. For some reason we relate to and understand the world when it is neatly divided into labels. To many, I am labelled a Christian. If that is because I believe Jesus Christ existed and brought an important message to humanity, then, yes, I am a Christian. If it’s because, in my past I attended church regularly, then, no, that is incorrect. Church attendance does not make me Christian. If you really want to label me, please call me a Gnostic. That still makes me Christian because I believe in Jesus Christ, but it also makes me much more. Before we continue, please know that I am not indoctrinated as a Gnostic – no body (like a church) has ordained me in formal ceremony (like baptism or confirmation) to be a Gnostic. I am a Gnostic because I personally choose it in the continuous pursuit of enlightenment (which I have yet to fully attain). Foundations of Faith

  History reflects the ideology of the dominant / ruling class. Actually, let me clarify this statement a little: history reflects the ideology of the governing instrument / institutions of the ruling class. The dominant element of society, which is quite often a minority across the entire population, supports and perpetuates the ideology of the ruling class. Basically the ruling elite maintain their power from the mass-support of a select group of common folk. So, what does any of this have to do with spirituality and faith? Ask yourself: what is the basis of my spiritual belief? If, for example, it is something like the dogma of the Catholic Church, or the fundamentalism of the Islamic religion, then you are subject to the dominant ideology I have spoken about above.
