Foundations of Faith
History reflects the ideology of the dominant / ruling class. Actually, let me clarify this statement a little: history reflects the ideology of the governing instrument / institutions of the ruling class. The dominant element of society, which is quite often a minority across the entire population, supports and perpetuates the ideology of the ruling class. Basically the ruling elite maintain their power from the mass-support of a select group of common folk.
So, what does any of this have to do with spirituality and faith?
Ask yourself: what is the basis of my spiritual belief? If, for example, it is something like the dogma of the Catholic Church, or the fundamentalism of the Islamic religion, then you are subject to the dominant ideology I have spoken about above.
Perhaps you should further ask: what is the truth behind my spiritual faith? Perhaps even: what is faith?
To get to the root of true spiritual faith we must transcend doctrines established by the dominant / ruling class that has spanned humanity’s history. While there have been various successive dominant classes throughout history (and will continue to be), when we look at spirituality there is only one ruling class for humanity’s time on this earth – the ruling class of our creators, the Fallen angelic race. For more insight into this possibility, please read my book Transcendence.
Spirituality is about belief in something that exists beyond our material body that guides our soul in the battle between enlightenment and destructive ignorance. Faith is about unwavering confidence or trust that spiritual awakening and enlightenment will lead us to the something – the ONE – that is universal being in absolute goodness.
True spiritual faith centres on belief in the ONE true God of all creation. It does not matter what religious denomination we affiliate with (e.g. Judaism; Islam; Christianity; Buddhism; Hinduism; Jainism; etc.), there is only ONE true God, whose universal principles of true goodness apply to all.
By founding our spiritual faith on the human doctrines of an exclusive institution we are at risk of dividing humanity into competing factions, each with their own air of superiority. Human ideologies compete for dominance to the point of suppression and destruction of anything considered to be opposition. This is not the way of the Spirit – this is not the way of the ONE.

NOTE: I chose the picture of this quilt, which my wife made, because the concentric pattern reminds me of a galaxy spiral and represents the universe, while the various shapes and colours represent the differences we see in the human race. Despite all the difference, everything is one, and the beauty of the piece comes from that unity.
