Enlightenment

Image
I can no longer be bothered with the commercial madness and lack of meaning that humans call Easter. The entire “festival” is just a meaningless binge centred on chocolate eggs and bunnies and over-consumption of food and liquor.   The festival of Easter is in fact pagan in origin and has nothing to do with Jesus. The festival pre-dates Jesus and has its origins in Mesopotamia (circa 4500 BCE or likely earlier) with the worship of the goddess Ishtar, the goddess of divine law, political power, war, love, sensuality, fertility, and procreation.  Observe the similarity between the words “Ishtar” and “Easter”.  The goddess Ishtar was known by different names across the ancient Middle East, including Athtar in Arabia, Ashtarte in Babylonia, and Astarte (and Ashtoreth) by the Canaanites and Hebrews in the Levant. In later times, under paganism in the West, the name of the goddess was rendered as Asteron (Old Saxon), Ostara (Old German), Eostre (Anglo Saxon), and Eastre (Old En...

Light and Darkness

Image
Recently, in my deconstructive analysis of the Biblical book of Genesis, I examined two parts: Genesis 1: 1-8 Genesis 1: 14-18 I encourage readers to investigate these parts as it will help in understanding this article. If we reconstruct the early sections of Genesis to reflect a logical sequence, it reads like this, in two distinct parts – one about a time and place before heaven, and one about heaven itself: In the beginning there was darkness over the deep, and God's spirit hovered over the waters. God said, "Let there be light" and there was light. God saw that light was good, and God divided light from darkness. God said, "Let there be a vault (or more correctly, a “division” or “separation”) between the waters to divide the waters in two." And so it was. God made the vault, and it divided the water above the vault from the water under the vault. God called the vault "heaven".  Now there was a time when the earth did not exist. After creating hea...

Astral Awesomeness

Since I had my first experience of a full Aurora display back in October 2024, Aurora hunting has become a fascination for me. The “mission” of capturing an Aurora display on camera is quite demanding: 1) you need to track solar storm activity and see if those storms are accompanied by Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) that are earth directed; 2) you need to get the earth arrival time of CMEs right (which is very difficult); 3) you need to get to a dark-sky site (where there is minimal light pollution); 4) you need to have clear skies (free of cloud cover); 5) you need to know what you’re doing with your camera settings (once you locate the “invisible” light display in the skies). Then there is the matter of going out into the dark night until the early hours of the morning on a “work night” (it’s no fun rushing into the office after only 3 hours of sleep). On top of all that, there is never a guarantee that the Aurora will put in a good show – change in direction or strength of solar wind...

Anticipating Autumn

Image
In anticipation of Autumn and the good light that comes with it, I could not wait for the recent long weekend in March and the opportunity to grab some photographs. Unfortunately, the Australian Summer is not retiring quietly, and it continues to “scream” with its bright light and heat.  To work around the challenge of Australian Summer and its heat and fire risks (and accompanying travel restrictions, for those who are sensible), my son and I got out either at pre-dawn, or late evening (way after sunset).  The photo accompanying this post is of one of the stages in the Olinda Falls (in Victoria, Australia). It was taken at sunrise. Lying across the creek banks, just above the waterfall is the trunk of a fallen tree. It looks like a thin branch, but that’s just an illusion of scale; the trunk was at least 30 inches thick, and easily 24 feet long.  Given the hot, dry Summer we have had in 2025 we were blessed to have a reasonably good gush of water coming through. I delibe...

Empirical Blindness

Image
Heavenly Father, be in my soul, my heart, my mind, and my words. Earlier this week I watched a TV documentary called “Forbidden History” – the episode I saw was called “Uncovering the Historical Jesus”. The program posed many arguments, a central one being that the archaeological evidence for the existence of Jesus is very weak and on that basis (the program strongly proposed) Jesus most likely did not exist and the person of Jesus was fabricated as part of the canonical Gospels in order to promote Christian dogma many years after the alleged existence of Jesus. If you ever wanted to see what weak pseudoscience looks like, this episode is a good example. Several days later I find myself wondering why I feel so irritated by this program. After all, I have stated in my writings that God exists whether we accept it or not – it’s a fundamental truth which is unaffected by our personal beliefs. In our current times of declining belief in anything spiritual, many of us will never understand ...

The Light in the World

Image
Heavenly Father, be in my soul, my heart, my mind, and my words. Life has a way of obstructing us from what is truly important. Our spiritual wellness is often the very last thing we think of, if we think of it at all. This spiritual wellness is the most important thing, above all else. If we do not have spiritual wellness our souls are at risk of being lost to the darkness of this fallen world. There is one simple truth: our soul, upon death of the body, can transcend to light and unite with the One true God, or it can remain in this world, reincarnated into another body so that it continuously lives this life. How do I know that the soul can transcend this world and unite in the light of the One? I know it through the example of Jesus. People fall foul to the theology built by Christian religious dogma. In essence, that theology tells us that Jesus was “God made man”. In my opinion, this is incorrect. The One true God has no interest in being a human. The other error is that we blind...

Battle

Image
We have become so lazy with our minds that we only believe what we can see. Mostly, what we see is not even true. Yet we gobble it up like it is reality, and we let that “reality” define our thoughts, beliefs and emotions. This would be amusing if it wasn’t so tragically sad. There is a truth that has been present since modern humans began. An inconvenient truth that many of us have chosen to ignore and most of us nowadays do not believe at all. In truth, there is a battle for human souls – a battle between darkness and light.   Human souls are inserted into the flesh bodies we receive at conception – bodies that were originally genetically engineered and created by a Fallen race of “angelic” beings, and not by the ONE true God as we have been incorrectly taught for millennia. The essence of the battle between darkness and light is for the darkness to dominate our soul so that we continuously reincarnate on this earth as minions for our Fallen masters, or for the light to enlighten...

Understanding Consciousness

Image
Before I embark on my next meditation, I want to recall a few important things about journeying towards transcendence. Regular readers of my articles will remember that I believe the journey towards transcendence requires four crucial “steps”: 1. Soul consciousness 2. Spiritual connection / awakening 3. Receiving light and growing enlightenment 4. Integrating with the ONE Soul gives life to the body – it is the force that enables the body to breathe, the heart to beat, the brain to think. When we sleep, soul enables the body to awaken. Without soul, the body is an inanimate object.  I also believe that the ability for the body to have soul comes from something our Fallen creators enabled when they first created humans (without true wisdom as to why or how they could do it – they had the power which they inherited from the ONE as they were offspring from the ONE, but they had no appreciation of the power; they simply abused it). The Fallen “breathed soul” into our genetic code so th...

Connecting with Spirit

Image
Recently during Spring I had the wonderful privilege of visiting a large natural botanical garden near my home. It is up in the hills of a low lying range reaching an elevation of about 630 metres. The garden is set deep in an indigenous Australian temperate rainforest filled with Eucalyptus, Acacias, Ash, and Tree Ferns. Beneath the leafy canopy lie many varieties of colourful shrubs. During my visit the thing that I noticed most was the silence in the garden – no noise pollution from automobile traffic, industry, or even screaming humans. There was also no garbage lying around. The air was clean and cool, and you could smell the earth. There was birdsong from hidden birds. Looking up into the canopy you could see overcast skies with the occasional blue peeping through breaks in the clouds. The most striking feature of looking up was how tall the trees were and how high they reached into the heavens. I was a tiny creature standing amidst natural “columns” of a majestic cathedral. I wa...

Our Spiritual Mission

Image
Before I write, I pray: may the meditation of my mind and heart, and the words from my mouth be acceptable to you heavenly Father, the ONE true God of all creation. Thought resides in the mind which, if treated properly, is the conscious realm of soul. Thoughts have the potential to contain power from the spirit. Words emanate from thoughts, and they too contain power.  Thus it is important for us to hold truth and integrity in our minds and in our words. For what we think, feel, and speak, makes the world we live in. Our choices bring consequences, not only for us, but for all around us. While humans were created by the Fallen angels, in the image and likeness of those angels, the soul that was instilled within the human body by the Fallen was devoid of spirit from the ONE true God. After the first humans were created, the ONE true God instilled spirit in the soul of those humans so that they would be capable of receiving enlightenment. Reference to this can be found in the spirit...

Money

Image
There is a popular song from the 1980’s by a band called The Flying Lizards. It was a very catchy tune, and quite fun (if you were in that mindset at the time). The song opens with these lyrics: “The best things in life are free, but you can give them to the birds and bees. I want money. That's what I want…”. That song captures the essence of this world we live in: 1) we cannot legally get any material thing without buying it through an exchange for money, and 2) we determine our happiness, success, and sense of fulfilment from the material wealth we accumulate – the more money we have the happier we are. In our world, money is the ultimate goal. So, of course the song by the Flying Lizards is an anthem for humanity. We are brainwashed into unconsciously believing that if we do not work to earn money, we are lazy “slackers” with no direction or ambition in life. Here’s the thing: we can have direction and ambition – we can even work very hard for something we believe in – but if it...

Fasting from the World

Image
From a health and wellbeing perspective fasting is the process of occasionally abstaining from foods (and certain fluids) for a specified time – usually 12 to 24 hours, and repeating that on a regular cycle, like once per week. The reason for doing this is, typically, to lose body mass in order to bring our weight into a healthy range. Sometimes it can also be to wean ourselves off certain foods (like cream cakes) or fluids (such as alcohol) so that we can restore healthy bodily function (e.g. reduce fatty liver). Fasting is done for physical wellbeing reasons – to maintain a strong and heatlhy body. So, when Jesus Christ instructed us (in the Gospel of Thomas) to “fast from this world”, what was he saying? Let’s relate it back to fasting from foods and fluids. There are certain substances that are not healthy for us if we consume them in excess – that is, we take them too often and in too large a quantity. If we continue consuming those substances they bring us various types of diseas...

Anger

Image
There are many things that can stall our search for enlightenment, and by far the most obstructive and even destructive force of darkness is anger.  After happiness, I think anger is the emotion we humans like to feel the most. If we did not like it so much, there would be less of it in the world. If you think my assertion is crazy, then please explain why there is so much hostility and violence in the world, from child abuse, to domestic violence, to racial hatred, to international wars, and even to environmental destruction. We like anger. Anger is commonly seen as an extreme emotional reaction towards someone or something that, in our personal opinion, has deliberately and unfairly obstructed and / or offended us. I believe anger to be ego-centric. Anger is a very personal (and biased) choice to react – from our ego – against what we consider to be unfair and insulting. And what is insult? I believe “insult” is a sense that arises from two perspectives: one internal, and one ext...
