Empirical Blindness

Heavenly Father, be in my soul, my heart, my mind, and my words. Earlier this week I watched a TV documentary called “Forbidden History” – the episode I saw was called “Uncovering the Historical Jesus”. The program posed many arguments, a central one being that the archaeological evidence for the existence of Jesus is very weak and on that basis (the program strongly proposed) Jesus most likely did not exist and the person of Jesus was fabricated as part of the canonical Gospels in order to promote Christian dogma many years after the alleged existence of Jesus. If you ever wanted to see what weak pseudoscience looks like, this episode is a good example. Several days later I find myself wondering why I feel so irritated by this program. After all, I have stated in my writings that God exists whether we accept it or not – it’s a fundamental truth which is unaffected by our personal beliefs. The Light in the World

Heavenly Father, be in my soul, my heart, my mind, and my words. Life has a way of obstructing us from what is truly important. Our spiritual wellness is often the very last thing we think of, if we think of it at all. This spiritual wellness is the most important thing, above all else. If we do not have spiritual wellness our souls are at risk of being lost to the darkness of this fallen world. There is one simple truth: our soul, upon death of the body, can transcend to light and unite with the One true God, or it can remain in this world, reincarnated into another body so that it continuously lives this life. How do I know that the soul can transcend this world and unite in the light of the One? I know it through the example of Jesus. People fall foul to the theology built by Christian religious dogma. In essence, that theology tells us that Jesus was “God made man”. In my opinion, this is incorrect. The One true God has no interest in being a human. The other error is that we blind...
